Our purpose at RISE is to reestablish convention education that focuses on dancers’ abilities, artistry, and talent. We find that is it all too common for students to leave conventions feeling defeated, intimidated, and unnoticed by event educators. At RISE Talent Convention, we assure you, that our educators RISE above in choreography, interactive instruction, and the ability to work closely with all attending talent. Our events celebrate each and every one of our attendees, teachers, and families, creating a positive experience shared by all. This is the way we help talent RISE up, and we hope to share this with you soon!

RISE convention classes begin each day with focusing on a solid dance foundation of jazz, ballet, tap, musical theatre, and modern technique. The classes will then lead in to today’s cutting-edge dance styles including contemporary, hip-hop, jazz-funk, and improv. The RISE mission is to offer the fundamentals of dance technique and then push dancers to expand their idea of dance and movement so that they can achieve new heights of artistic self-expression.
